What we collect

• Bookings: name, email, phone number, and payment details when you book a game or buy a gift card, whether online or in person.
• Enquiries: whatever you give us through the contact form, event enquiry form, or by email or phone.
• CCTV: footage is recorded during games for safety and operational reasons. By playing, you consent to this. Footage is kept for a maximum of 30 days, and we may use game footage in our promotional material.
• Website usage: standard technical data (like your browser and IP address) collected automatically, and cookies from embedded third-party features such as our reviews widget and location map (see Cookies, below).

How we use it

We use your data to process and manage your booking, send you booking confirmations and updates, respond to enquiries, and, where you have not opted out, to send you relevant marketing about Mythologic Escape Rooms.

Payments

Online payments are processed securely through Stripe and Tempus. We do not store your card details ourselves.

Who we share it with

Your data may be shared with our sister companies, Ctrl Alt Escape Ltd and Mystery Quests Ltd, for service communications and marketing. We do not share your data with any other third party except where required by law.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies from embedded third-party services, including a Google Maps widget on our location pages and a TripAdvisor reviews widget on our homepage. These services may set their own cookies when you view those parts of the site. We do not use these cookies to track you for advertising purposes ourselves.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and contact records for as long as reasonably needed to manage our relationship with you and meet our legal and accounting obligations. CCTV footage is kept for a maximum of 30 days unless retained for a specific safety incident.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@mythologicescaperooms.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
