It's preferable that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled escape so you can cool down and get focused.

We would prefer it if you weren't late.

If you arrive late and the slot after yours is booked, we take the lost time off your game so your slot ends on time. It is not fair to keep the group after you waiting.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your start time we may have to cancel the booking without a refund.

Being enthusiasts ourselves we really want to see you try out our rooms, and we will do our best to reschedule should you need it. We need at least 48 hours notice. There is no charge to move a booking with 48 hours notice or more.

All of our games are private and you will not be sharing with anyone else.

Unfortunately all bookings are final and non refundable. We will however reschedule your booking for you at no extra cost as long as you let us know 48hrs before the booking is due to take place.

Our rooms take 2 to 8 players, depending on the room. Every game is private to your group.

Yes, up to the maximum for that room. Anyone added to a booking you have already made pays the lowest player rate, £22 a head.

Whatever you feel like wearing. Do remember that this is an escape room and the room design is not office furniture, so loose or delicate clothing can catch on something.

An escape room asks you to stay sharp, and some scenarios call for limited physical activity, so we'd ask that you not drink alcohol before coming to Mythologic Escape Rooms.

Gillingham: the NCP car park at Trafalgar Street, ME7 4RN, is about a five minute walk. You will need the NCP app to pay. There are other car parks around the high street if that one fills up.

Maidstone parking is not published yet. Ask us when you book and we will point you to the nearest space.

CSI: Times Up is the most accessible room we have. Lilith and Arabian Nights take a standard wheelchair, but there are obstacles inside and you will need someone with you. For the other rooms, call us: Gillingham 01634 791059, Maidstone 01622 801633.

Most of our games are family friendly and designed for mixed age groups, not just groups of children. Anyone under 14 needs a paying adult in the game with them; under 8s are not charged. Bookings must be made by someone aged 16 or over.

Lilith is a horror experience: anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over 18, and we do not recommend this game for anyone under 16.

Ten of our twelve rooms are rated moderate intensity: The Game, The Greatest Bank Heist, Arabian Nights, CSI: Times Up, Raiders of the Lost Galleon, The Grunch, Antidote, Murder on the Midnight Express, Santa's Workshop Rescue and Back In Time. Two are rated high intensity: Lilith in Gillingham and The Mortician in Maidstone.

An Escape Room is simply what the name suggests: a room you have to escape from. The room is filled with riddles and challenges, and you and your team have to work together to find a way out.

You may carry your phone into the room, but using it is not allowed: no calling in hints, no photos or videos during play. We monitor the rooms, and if you use your phone the game is stopped and your group is asked to leave. Team photos after the game are fine.

Most rooms give you 60 minutes. Lilith runs 80 minutes, Murder on the Midnight Express 70, Back In Time 88 and The Mortician 90.
